Yes, we’re still open for business!

Earbuds NZ is still open for business

The last few months, and especially the last 4 weeks, have been extraordinary! Our sympathies go out to everyone who has been affected one way or another by this virus. Self isolation and social distancing has not been fun, but finally the restrictions that have been placed on us are about to ease when we drop down to Alert Level 3 after 11:59pm on Monday.

So we thought it was timely to remind you that Earbuds NZ is still operating. We have been processing some orders over the last four weeks, though not as often as we’d have liked. But we are up to full steam again now and orders are again able to be processed and dispatched most days (though likely this will only be on weekends during level 3 lockdown)!

Please note that some customers are reporting long delivery delays through NZ Post. Please allow at least a couple of weeks.

Take care and stay well.

New Year – New Prices

blank

Everything changes all the time. Here at Earbuds NZ, we are no different.

We had a price freeze on our Standard Post prices since July 2018, when NZ Post raised their postal rates. But we’ve now had to bring our postage costs in line with them.

On the bright side, we’re dropping the prices of all our Standard, Sony and Apple tips to no more than $2.00 a pair as of January 1st, 2019.

In case you missed it, the prices of the Jaybird tips were dropped prior to Christmas and are only $2.00 a pair.

The prices of the Bose, Samsung and Motorolas will remain unchanged for now.

We are looking forward to your custom throughout 2019, and as always, if you have any queries whatsoever, feel free to drop us a line through our contact page.

Happy New Year!

September is going to be an exciting month… we’re coming up to our 9th anniversary soon, and it’s time for a little bit of a refresh of our website.

It will become more optimised for users of mobile devices and tablets as these count for around 70% of our users. Earbuds NZ will still look amazing on large screen formats too!

And it will be fast! Very fast!!

Naturally, we’ll still have the best selection of tips in Australasia, and the best customer service of course!

Introducing ParcelPost Tracked

ParcelPost (Tracked)Earbuds NZ is pleased to announce we now provide the option of ParcelPost Tracked. This is a great option for people who just want peace of mind.

Our standard policy has been to only charge you, the customer, what postage actually costs. However, as ParcelPost Tracked actually requires visiting an NZ Post branch, we feel it is necessary to include an additional 50 cents surcharge for the additional effort required to send your package.

This postage method will also be required for sending replacement orders to people who have reported their first order as lost. This ensures the replacement order gets where it’s intended.

If you have any feedback, I’d love to hear it!

UPDATE: I have recently been made aware of the ParcelPost Tracked Upgrade tickets that can be purchased from the Post Office. This is a stand-alone sticker with a tracking code that can be added to ParcelPost parcels. This saves a trip to the Post Office, and means the 50 cent surcharge is no longer required! Saves us hassle, and saves you money… now that’s what I call Win-Win!

Change to how discounts work… for the better!

blankDiscount coupons are so last century! Well, maybe last year!

The thing is, if you didn’t see the banner at the top of the page when you were checking out previously, you missed out on that sweet 15% off. That kinda sucks.

So things have changed to make it fair for everyone… now, all you need to do is buy some tips and automatically be rewarded with a discount. And better still, the more earbud tips you buy – from any category, not just the same colour or size – the more discount you receive!

For example, in the table below, you can see that one pair of tips costs $3.50, but three pairs costs $3.15 each – that’s 10% off just like that!

buy more tips, get a bigger discount!

Whether it’s three pairs of yellow Standard tips, or one pair of black Standard tips, one pair of red Sony tips, and one pair of Jaybird tips, you’d still get 10% off in both scenarios.

But discount coupons haven’t totally gone the way of the dodo, or mammoth… every order completed up until now has received an email with a 10% off coupon, which will still be honoured. Additionally, every order contains a business card with a special 20% off code, which will continue for the foreseeable future. Best of all, these coupon codes can be combined with the item discounts above to get up to a massive 40% off a subsequent order!

Thanks for reading, and I look forward to processing your order soon!

A New Way to Pay!

Pay securely online with POLi paymentsLet us introduce to you: POLi Payments!

This is a great new way to pay for your order online, from your bank account, without leaving our site… POLi Payments is just like Internet Banking. If you’ve bought tickets online with Air New Zealand, or paid for your car registration on the NZTA site, or even shopped at The Warehouse online, then you may have already come across this payment method.

So, at the checkout, you will be presented with different options to pay for your order.  If you choose POLi Payments, and click Place order, you will be presented with a POLi Payments screen where you’ll be required to select your bank. All the major trading banks are able to be used. POLi payments work with these banks: Available Banks.

Order reference when paying with POLi paymentsAfter selecting your bank and clicking Continue, you will then be prompted to log into your bank account – log in using your normal internet banking username and paswsword.

Once logged in, you will then need to choose which account to pay with. Your order number is already linked to your POLi Payments ID so no need to fill in any of the fields if you don’t want to.

After clicking Continue one more time, you will be asked to confirm the transaction.

You can cancel the transaction at any stage of the process – this will take you back to the check out screen on this website.

This is a fast and secure payment method, and at no time does Earbuds NZ see your account information or internet banking login details: POLi payments acts as a broker between your account and our account.

Click the POLi Internet Banking at the top-right of this news post for more information about POLi payments.

If you have any questions, you can contact us directly, or leave a comment below. Go Shopping!
