Important Changes

The cost of NZ Post’s Standard Mail has increased to the point where it provides little cost benefit to customers.  From today, ParcelPost (including Rural Delivery) is the only shipping option. 

Tracking has been abandoned as ultimately it also provided no benefit to customers – previous claims for lost items has resulted in zero action from NZ Post to trace and recover the missing item, or accept any fault for the missing item and therefore will not reimburse any costs to Earbuds NZ or the customer.

Sadly, when an order from Earbuds NZ goes missing – which is pretty rare over all – Earbuds NZ cannot provide any assistance or refund your order.

Postage Info

How we operate

All orders are posted in a Size 1 ParcelPost bag. Please ensure you provide a valid postal address at checkout – address lookup is provided to assist with this.

IMPORTANT: Invalid addresses could delay the delivery of your order, and may incur additional postage charges if your order needs to be resent (we usually request an alternate address when resending orders to prevent a repeat non-delivery).

While Earbuds NZ aims to post orders the next business day, this is not always possible due to other work commitments. An email is sent once your order has been processed and handed over to NZ Post.

No mark-up has been added to the postage costs at checkout – we believe it is only fair that you are charged the actual costs of postage and no more. 

Earbuds NZ provides ParcelPost Rural Delivery for RD addresses.

Delivery Targets

How long it might take

NZ Post provides the following delivery targets for ParcelPost items.

  • 3 working days for nationwide delivery.
  • Delivery targets are a guide only and NZ Post does not guarantee your item will reach its destination within the delivery target.
  • Delivery to and from rural or remote areas may take longer.

The experience reported to us by some customers shows that the above delivery targets should be doubled, or even tripled, on many occasions.

Over the Christmas/New Year break, this can easily increase to 4 weeks.
